“Spectrum Photo” Competition – Terms and Conditions
1. Eligibility Requirements
1.1. Participation in the “Spectrum Photo” Competition (“the Competition”) is open to individuals who meet the following criteria at the time of entry:
- Are [INSERT MINIMUM AGE] years of age or older;
- Are a natural person (legal entities may not participate);
- Have legal residency in a member state of the European Union;
- Are the original creator of the submitted image, having taken the photo with a device personally owned by them;
- Have obtained consent from any identifiable individuals appearing in the submitted image, even if such consent was given verbally;
- Have not been involved in the organization, administration, or sponsorship of the Competition, including employees of the organizing company, affiliates, or immediate family members.
1.2. No purchase is necessary to participate. Participation is open regardless of whether the individual has made a purchase from the organizer via www.eclipseglassesspain.com, www.gafasparaeclipsesolarespaña.com, or at any physical retail location.
2. Photo Requirements
2.1. Submitted photographs must meet all of the following conditions in order to be eligible:
- Minimum dimensions:
- Vertical: 1080 x 1350 pixels
- Landscape: 1080 x 566 pixels
- The photo must visibly feature Spectrum solar eclipse glasses, with the Spectrum brand name clearly shown.
2.2. The organizer reserves the right to reject any image that does not meet the above technical or thematic criteria or that is deemed inappropriate, offensive, or in violation of applicable law.
3. Submission Procedure and Data Collection
3.1. Photos must be uploaded through the official submission forms located at:
- www.eclipseglassesspain.com/spectrum-photo-competition/upload, or
- www.xn--gafasparaeclipsesolarespaa-5rc.com/concurso-de-fotos-spectrum/subir-imagen
3.2. Upon submission, the following data will be collected from participants:
- Full name
- Email address
- Mobile phone number
- Government-issued ID number (for winner verification)
- IP address
3.3. This data is collected solely for the purposes of:
- Verifying ownership of the image;
- Ensuring compliance with the rules;
- Contacting the winner(s);
- Preventing fraudulent voting or participation.
3.4. Personal data will be stored securely and processed in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR). Participants may request access, correction, or deletion of their personal data by contacting the organizer at [Insert contact email].
4. Voting Rules
4.1. Public voting will be open from [start date] until 31 August 2026.
4.2. Each person is allowed to vote only once. In order to vote, users must submit their:
- Full name
- Mobile phone number
4.3. The organizer will implement technical measures (such as phone-based verification and browser fingerprinting) to prevent multiple votes by the same individual. Any attempt to manipulate or fraudulently influence the results may result in disqualification of the participant or invalidation of votes.
4.4. The total number of votes received by each image will be displayed publicly below the image.
4.5. The photo that receives the highest number of valid votes by the voting deadline will be declared the winner.
4.6. Winning photos will be prominently displayed on the competition websites with a visible “Winner” badge or tag.
5. Prizes
5.1. The prizes for the competition will be announced on or before [Insert announcement date] and will be publicly displayed on the same page as the photo competition details.
5.2. Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or any other alternative.
5.3. The organizer reserves the right to substitute any prize with another of equal or greater value in the event that the original prize is unavailable.
6. Rights to the Submitted Content
6.1. By submitting a photograph, participants declare that they are the original creator of the image and that no third party may claim rights over it.
6.2. The participant grants the organizer a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use the submitted image for marketing, promotional, or editorial purposes. This includes publication on websites, social media, advertising materials, and press releases, in perpetuity.
6.3. Participants will not receive any financial compensation for the use of their image unless otherwise agreed in writing.

8. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of Spain. Any dispute arising in connection with the Competition shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Spain, without prejudice to any applicable consumer protection rights.
